Cold Engines Need Time

When a car has been parked for several hours, its engine and related components cool down. Engine oil also becomes thicker at lower temperatures, so it does not circulate as easily as it does when the engine is warm.
After we start the vehicle, the oil pump begins sending oil through the engine. It takes a short time for the lubricant to circulate properly. During this early stage, the engine is working toward its normal operating condition, which is why gentle operation is helpful.

Better Lubrication

Lubrication is one of the main reasons for a short warm-up. An engine contains many moving components that need a steady supply of oil to reduce friction. When the engine is cold, the oil needs some time to reach the right areas and flow at its normal rate.
