History and Rooftop Experience
The Arc de Triomphe was commissioned in 1806 and completed in 1836. It was created as a monument connected with important historical memories.
The structure stands at the center of a large traffic circle where twelve avenues meet, creating the famous star-shaped layout. As we walk around the base, we can admire detailed carvings and inscriptions that tell stories from the past.
Inside the monument, we can explore exhibition areas before climbing to the rooftop. The journey includes 284 steps, but the reward is a spectacular 360-degree view of Paris.
From the top, we can see the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Élysées Avenue, and the beautiful city design spreading in every direction.
